History

Williamson CPAs was founded by John Williamson in 1992 when he left his partner position at a larger firm. He saw an opportunity to deliver higher quality service with a focus on a strong advisory relationship and he has used that mindset to drive all of his client relationships. His wife Shari, also a CPA, joined the firm in 1994. Today, the practice continues the legacy John created focusing on relationship over profits and continues to grow and serve clients of all types and sizes across Southern California. In 2023 our firm elected to join a mid-sized firm and is now a division of MidAtlantic CPAs. This relationship allows our clients to continue to have interaction with local tax preparers but with the resources of a national firm.
